Two ways into the work, organised by where it happened.
Work for supermarkets, retailer own label teams, branded manufacturers selling into retail, and the categories that live or die on a planogram. Innovation pipelines, range work, pack and shelf research, NPD development, retailer pitch support and post-launch optimisation.
Work for restaurant chains, QSR operators, contract caterers and the brands selling into them. Menu development, in-restaurant testing, concept work, customer experience, foodservice innovation and operational pilots.
The view from the brief-in clients who have actually commissioned us.
No. The case studies in our public library are the ones clients have agreed to share publicly. A lot of our work is under NDA, particularly retailer own label and pre-launch innovation projects. If you are looking for something specific and cannot find it here, get in touch and we will share relevant work under NDA.
Often, yes. Many of our case studies have a confidential version with named brands, full results and the commercial impact. We share these on call with serious prospects under NDA.
Either because the work is commercially sensitive, the client is a retailer or own label brand that does not want to publicly name its research partners, or because the project covered something pre-launch that is still confidential. The work is real either way.
We rotate the public library regularly. Most of the case studies on the site are from the last three years. Older work is archived but available on request if it is relevant to your brief.
Probably. We work across most food and drink categories, from chilled and frozen through to ambient grocery, fresh produce, foodservice, drinks, snacks, and own label across all of them. Filter the grid above by sector and challenge, and if nothing relevant comes up, get in touch.
Yes. Every case study has a clean URL you can share, and most have a downloadable PDF version on the individual page. The deeper, named, results-in versions stay on call only.
We only display the logos of clients who have agreed to public attribution. A substantial proportion of our work runs under NDA or with clients who prefer to remain anonymous publicly while still happy to be referenced on call. The displayed logo wall represents the public-facing roster rather than the full client roster.
Tell us what you are working on. We will share the closest match from our work, including the bits we cannot put on the public site, and tell you straight whether we are the right fit. Twenty minutes on a call.
